As the name suggests plus sized wedding dresses are created for a specific group of women who are voluptuous and large built.

Retailers all over the country are abandoning the plus size woman when it comes to stylish and trendy plus size fashions. Part of the reason that the plus-size apparel market is problematic for most retailers is because often times they are more expensive than "regular" sized clothes. This is because plus-size collections are expensive to make as much as 10% or more than standard lines. Experts estimate because they require additional fabrics and special fit models and patterns coupled with a dismal retail environment.

Finding high quality and well-fitting plus size clothing can be a very difficult task. To find clothes that last, avoid the big discount stores. While the clothing prices are cheap, so is the fabric and construction. Many of these stores have clothing that was made by simply adding inches to the width of the clothes, but not the length. Because of this, sleeves and the bottoms of shirts can be too short. While you do save money from these stores, it is just not worth it in the end.
